Hōshun was primarily a painter but some of his art was also sold as woodblock prints. Eighteen examples of his prints are included in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Hōshun drew his flower and (or) bird subjects in a true-to-life way which was typical of Japanese artists who received their art training in the first half of the twentieth century.
